LEDs are the illuminants of the future!
The durability of LED lamps is with 50,000 hours much higher (up to 20 times!) as e.g. of standard halogen lamps. This eliminates frequent changes, new purchases and related working time. Therefore accrues much less ?wasteĦ§, which makes the new technology environmentally friendly and preserves ressources.
Another big advantage is the very low energy consumption. There are used 3 LEDs with total 3.6 Watts to reach the brightness of a standard 20 Watts halogen lamp; this saves over 80% of energy costs.
The quality of light and brightness of LEDs is, considered over the entire lifetime, much more stable than of halogen lamps.
LEDs do not emit harmful UV or IR radiation! The used transformer is much smaller and cheaper than for conventional light sources, because approx. 80% less power is needed.
Obviously, only the best brands of LEDs are integrated (Cree/ USA), which are thoroughly reviewed and sorted before the installation. The significantly reduced heat dissipation allows a safer installation and reduces the energy losses.
